BROMOTM Brominated Flame Retardants

BromoTM  is a line of brominated retardants. They provide a cost-effective solution to flame retardant formulations in a wide range of elastomeric and plastic applications such as wire & cable, hose, textile coatings, electrical/electronic parts, business machine and television cabinets. BromoTM flame retardants are particularly effective in polyolefins, styrenics, polyamide, HIPS, polyester resins and various elastomers where a source of halogen is desired.

BromoTM DB-81

Decabromodiphenyl Ethane


High bromine, cost effective flame retardant for W&C, hose, textile coatings, electronic parts. Replacement for Bromo DB-82.

BromoTM DB-81-85RB

Decabromodiphenyl Ethane


85% active dispersion in a rubber binder which eliminates the potential dust hazard.  Gives Easy processing & incorporation at low temperatures.

BromoTM DB-81-85PL

Decabromodiphenyl Ethane


85% active dispersion in thermoplastic binder which eliminates the potential dust hazard.

BromoTM HB-64



High purity FR for expanded PS and other styrenic systems. Also used in other thermoset and thermoplastic applications.

BromoTM TB-64

Tetrabromobisphenol A


Aromatic flame retardant finding application in circuit boards and electrical appliances. Also FR intermediate.

BromoTM PS-66A

Brominated Polystyrene


Outstanding thermal and electrical properties. Non-blooming additive for PET, PBT, and polyamides.

BromoTM PS-66B

Brominated Polystyrene


Excellent for high temperature applications, with outstanding thermal stability. Used in PET, PBT, and polyamides; non-blooming.

Outstanding thermal and UV stability, heat sealability, and wet electrical properties for W&C. Used with polyolefins, polyamides, and polyesters.

BromoTM  TBB-67

Tetrabromobisphenol A  bis (dibromopropylether)


Excellent FR properties particularly in PP homopolymer and copolymer. Use in electronic parts.

BromoTM TBI-65

Tris (2,3-dibromopropyl) isocyanurate


Low volatility, and used in polyurethane, ABS, polyesters, and synthetic rubber.
