Nylon

Lianda Corporation provides a family of long chain nylon products that offers more flexibility, better chemical resistance, superior low temperature properties and lower moisture absorption as compared with conventional Nylon products. Several variations are available: neat resin, plasticized, and glass-reinforced.

Materials

Nylon materials are characterized by excellent high temperature properties, moldability, chemical resistance, and general versatility. They can be processed in a wide variety of forming operations including extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding. Nylon products are used in a wide variety of applications, from fabrics to critical under the hood components.

Nylon PA1212
PA 1212 nylon has the lowest water absorption among nylons, good dimensional stability and oil resistance. Resistance to alkali, non-toxic, and good toughness at low temperature. Can be used for extruding, injection molding, blow molding, and powder coating applications. Good substitute for Nylon 11 and Nylon 12.

Nylon 610 Reinforced Grades
The addition of glass fibers to nylon results in significant increases in tensile strength, modulus, heat distortion temperature, abrasion resistance, and dimensional stability. The enhanced properties allow for under the hood auto applications, etc.

Flexible Nylon Grades
Flexible nylon grades exhibit excellent toughness, low temperature properties, resistance to wear, low water absorption, low forming shrinkage, and good forming processability. Primary applications are automotive hose, oil pipe line, air conditioning hose, etc.
